We have been enjoying our Eskute C202 on tours that include a little climbing, and two things have particularly impressed us: the assistance on the hills and how far we can ride between charges.
A route does not have to be mountainous to make motor support worthwhile. Our outings typically cover around 30–80 km, with approximately 350–650 metres of elevation gain. Over that distance, the climbs become a meaningful part of the ride.
Appreciating the Support on Climbs
On these routes, we have been very pleased with the C202's 65 Nm motor. The assistance feels strong, and it is one of the qualities we appreciate most when riding through rolling terrain.
For us, a bike reveals its strengths through the journeys we actually make. Those uphill sections have given us plenty of opportunities to appreciate what the C202 brings to our tours.
Going Further Than We Expected
The biggest surprise has been the battery range.
In our experience, we comfortably exceed 100 km between charges. Compared with the advertised figure of up to 110 km, our own average has been closer to 140 km across our riding.
That is the total distance we achieve between charges, rather than the length of each individual outing. It is also our personal experience on our routes and with our riding habits; other riders may see different results.
Even so, it has been a very positive surprise and one of the main reasons we are so pleased with the bike.
